Harris Predator II GX series is a 2RU device designed to support DVI along with autosensing HD-SDI, SDI and analog video sources. The multi-window processor control is using the Z configurator software and SNMP. Predator II can do visual monitoring with in-picture audio meters for 32 channels of embedded audio per input and/or optional external discrete AES inputs. The front panel controls is viewable in the LCD. Predator II supports On-screen alarms, SNMP notification and GPI Output to indicate common fault conditions such as Audio Over/Under, Loss of Sync, Frozen Video and Black Picture. This device also provides Video caption support for Closed Caption or D-VITC. It is interesting to note that Sources are rendered as scalable windows to one or two high resolution displays with less than 1 frame of delay from source to display. Add-on this multiviewer supports Two GPI inputs per video input for full-screen, layout, or tally recall. Predator II finds its unique place in broadcast industry as in Broadcast monitoring in studios, production control rooms, master control rooms, and OB trucks. Besides command and Control Room monitoring as well as Satellite center and cable head-end monitoring.
